You headed straight to the jewelry store as it was the closest to the company building, figuring that this gift he wanted you to buy was for some girlfriend of his that you weren't aware of.

After arriving at the store you looked around for about ten minutes before settling on a beautiful diamond necklace that cost about ten grand.

However, once you made it to the cashier and tried paying with the card she rolled her eyes before looking at you, “Why does someone who looks so trashy shop here…? Anyway, you need an ID with this card.”

You ignored her comment before nodding while grabbing your ID, only for the woman to grab her phone, “This ID doesn't match the card…so I'm going to have to call the c—”
