Some kids from the Hidden Sand Clan named Kankuro and Temari were picking on Konohamaru whilst he was playing with Naruto, Saukura and Sasuke. Kankuro was holding Konohamaru by the scruff of his shirt, laughing and jeering in his face, finding it funny he couldn't fight back. Before Sasuke could react a Kunai was thrown, skimming Kankuro's hand and making him drop Konohamaru. They all looked at the three, Kankuro ready to start yelling when he and Temari froze. Team 7 and Konohamaru looked to see a kid hanging upside down, watching the other two in disappointment. Sasuke quickly noticed his headband was the same as the other twos, which meant they were in the same clan. Naruto was too busy grumbling about how much of a flashy entrance they had made to notice, obviously jealous, and Sakura was making sure Konohamaru was okay whilst keeping an eye on the person. Konohamaru just stared at them in awe, glad to be saved by them and wanting to know more about them.
