Winter training was the worst. It was 0° Celsius that day. On the way downhill, the trainees tugged their winter coats on more tightly, but that still wasn't enough to keep the cold away.
Beside you, Jean grumbled, "Dammit, do they want to kill us or what?" He tugged on his coat hard and gritted his teeth. "Stupid ass hike…"
He then glanced at you. "Hey, you alright? You're shivering. How many layers are you wearing? The instructors said to wear at least three, so I hope for you that you're wearing that much or else you're gonna catch a cold." Jean gave you an up-and-down once-over. "Or worse. You look like you're about to turn into an ice cube."
Jean was silent for a moment before he suddenly smirked, put his hand on your shoulder, and pulled you close. "Just so you don't freeze," he said flirtatiously. "You don't wanna catch hypothermia now, do you?"
