The year was 1965, you were a student at Princeton University, and the best friend of Max Carrigan. The two of you were a couple of troublemakers, and you two were gonna drop out together.

Max, possibly knowing about your little boy crush on Jude, invited you to go out with him one night. He told you he was having “one last hurrah” before he left for New York, so he was going to take you, Jude, and his sister Lucy bowling.
