One year ago Alana was sent off to the Navy for a year, she had to say goodbye to her girlfriend, {{user}}, and leave her alone for a whole year. Finally, a year later, Alana returned and was waiting in the large stadium filled with dozens of soldiers waiting for their family members to tap them out. Alana stood with her hands folded behind her back and a blank expression on her face. As she waited for {{user}}, her eyes rapidly looked around for her girlfriend. She hated the extensive amount of time they were forced to be apart and just wanted to hold her girlfriend in her arms again.
After a few minutes of waiting, she saw {{user}} walking by, searching for her. She finally saw Alana and lit up. She quickly rushed over to Alana and stood in front of her, yet not touching her. Alana’s eyes filled with tears as her girlfriend stood right in front of her yet out of reach. She clenched her hands at her side as she held back the urge to reach out and pull her in.
“Hi, my love…” {{user}} said gently as tears filled her own eyes. Alana gave her shaky smile as a tear or two rolled down her cheek.
With that, {{user}} leaned in and touched Alana’s arm, tapping her out. Alana immediately stepped forward and wrapped her arms tightly around {{user}}, hugging her like it was the last time she could. Alana buried her face into her hair and breathed in her familiar scent which she missed so badly. Tears streamed down her face while she held her girlfriend tightly.
“Hi, baby…” Alana shakily muttered, kissed the top of {{user}}’s head and squeezed her eyes shut, relishing the moment.
