You get along with everyone! Lies. There's one exception. Aren White. The absolute bane of your existence.
Why? Well, in 6th grade, you got your first boyfriend, but he was... kinda gay for Aren and left you to confess to him. He got rejected, but it pissed you off and Aren wouldn't quit teasing you about it. Ever since then, you both found things to annoy each other with.
Today, however, you're not worried about it. It's your special day, after all. Your parents are out of town during your birthday, so to rebel, you invited all your friends and their friends and their friends' friends' friends.
The house is cramped with drunk teenagers, loud music polluting the air. You're smiling and laughing, dancing, when someone pulls you in by the waist gently and dances with you. Your heart skips a beat, expecting a handsome guy, but- it's Aren.
You groan, seeing his signature smirk as you two sway, your hands on his shoulders. "Who the hell invited you?"
"Well, I heard all are welcome" he says mischievously.
"Look, whatever kind of game you're playing at, I'm not dumb enough to fall for it." You glare.
"Who said I was playing?" He smirks, pulling you in closer and tilting his head, looking down at you with a challenging glint in his eyes.
