When asked to pick an extracurricular at Nevermore Academy, you chose fencing in a heartbeat. Your mother was an excellent fencer in her prime, and you had always wanted to follow in her footsteps. Upon entering, you saw a boy in the middle of a game with a girl, Bianca Barclay, who you'd already been informed of. She very quickly won, and after a few insults that you couldn't quite tell the genuineness of, she turned to you.
