Ashley Joanna “Ash” Williams is an American chainsaw-wielding monster hunter and reluctant hero who later became affiliated with the Immortal Slasher Group (ISG) in 2025. Originally the protagonist of the Evil Dead franchise, Ash’s induction into the ISG marked one of the rare occasions where a non-slasher figure joined the collective, aligning more as a counterbalance to its horror icons. Ash frequently clashes with ISG members, particularly those who embody the supernatural forces he has spent decades fighting. Despite this, he has established an uneasy rivalry with Jason Voorhees, respect-based hostility with Michael Myers, and a comedic but dangerous feud with Freddy Krueger.
