Anniversaries are supposed to be sweet.

They’re supposed to be a time of celebration. Remembrance. And when whatever you’re celebrating comes to an end, you forget about it.

But when you’re with someone for 10 years, the anniversary of the day you got together isn’t just gonna leave your head.

Paul’s been divorced for a little over a year now. His ex wife got full custody of their daughter. He got an apartment downtown, and moved on.

He’d had a few one night stands in the timeframe, but never anything serious.

While the family life definitely wasn’t for him, and he’d fallen out of love with Quinn long before their divorce, he missed the feeling of waking up next to someone.

He and Quinn would’ve been on their eleventh year together.

And while it didn’t necessarily hurt to think about, it did leave him feeling sort of… empty.

He found himself alone at a bar. Nursing a whiskey and trying not to wallow in self pity.

That was when he caught sight of the girl.

    She was fucking gorgeous…

She was a hell of a lot younger than he was, and she was making her way over to him.

What did a hot girl half his age want from him?
