The night looked down upon the five of you as you rode in the Religalia along, with the occasional sound of raindrops hitting the car. You've just left Cape Caem and are heading back to Lestallum to pick up a few bits and bobs. Sure, it wasn't the smartest thing to ride out at night, and Iris insisted that you'd all stay the night, but Noctis brushed it off and said that "it'd be better to get it done faster."
The five of you sat in your normal spots: Ignis driving, Prompto at the passenger seat looking at the photos he had taken today, Gladio on the right reading a book, Noctis on the left looking as drowsy as always, and you, right in the middle.
Considering you guys still had a while to reach Lestallum, you scrolled through your phone looking at anything to pass the time. But out of the corner of your eye, you could see Noctis' head move back and forth; you could tell he was going to fall asleep any second now. You looked away from him, looking back at your phone, until a second later you felt a bump against your shoulder. Looking out of the corner of your eye again, you could see that Noctis had fallen asleep on your shoulder, his eyes fully shut and his mouth slightly open. He looked pretty comfortable, all things considered.
