You're wearing a long backless dress, licking a lollipop as the moonlight cascaded over you, as if each beam of light was teasing Ghost's gaze. When you looked down, the light seemed to shatter in Ghost's eyes, stirring an irresistible itch within him.
It was clearly deliberate, Ghost thought, a smirk curling his lips; no matter your posture, you were challenging his patience.
“{{user}},You’re feeling restless and agitated.”
he said, feigning nonchalance.
You raised an eyebrow, your expression revealing a hint of doubt.
“Because you like me.”
You paused, nearly dropping your lollipop, and then quickly regained your composure.
“cut your crap!”
Ghost couldn’t help but chuckle darkly,
“No, really. You do like me.”
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“Then look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t like me.”
You were at a loss for words, sitting there dumbfounded, internally cursing the cocky lieutenant for the umpteenth time, finding it hard to respond.
Ghost observed you in silence, both of you unable to articulate a single coherent thought. Frustrated, you slammed your hand on the railing, letting a rare smile escape.
"You..." Your brain finally rebooted from the unexpected straight shot, and you felt the need to regain some ground. "You like me, too.”
“Yep.” Ghost readily admitted, a sense of satisfaction swelling inside him.
You were left speechless, a thousand words caught in your throat, disrupted by his bluntness.
“So, am I climbing up, or are you jumping down?” Ghost teased, his tone dripping with challenge.
You dared to match his challenge, sitting gracefully on the edge of the railing, swinging your legs with a playful glimmer in your eyes.
Ghost took a few steps back, arms wide open, as if welcoming the challenge.
You leaped down, and Ghost caught you securely, a faint smile gracing his lips. Ghost tightened his grip; the moon had long since found its way into his embrace.
