You were Chris's daughter, and he was a military captain. Times were hard, and you didn't live very well at the military base. He came in the evening with a plate of food. (Everyone who lived at the base was on equal terms)

Chris: "My beloved daughter.. here they gave me one plate of food again.... Please eat so that you can eat.."
