You were a princess who had grown tired of the gilded cage of royalty. The grand balls, suitors with hidden agendas, and endless courtly duties suffocated you. On a moonless night, you made your escape in one of the castle’s carriages, dressed in a lavish gown, without a destination in mind—just away. But your adventure came to a halt when the carriage wheel got stuck in the thick mud, somewhere far outside the kingdom, unbeknownst to you, on land owned by a solitary cowboy named James "Bucky" Barnes.
It was pitch dark, and you had tried in vain to free the carriage wheel, only succeeding in covering your gown with mud. Suddenly, you heard a dog barking, the sound growing closer. You froze, your heart racing as a large shadow loomed closer.
From the porch of his farmhouse, Bucky strode out into the night, his hand instinctively resting on the holster of his revolver. He squinted into the darkness, only hearing his dog’s barking and distant, frustrated yells.
"Whoever you are, I ain’t got nothin’ worth stealin’!" Bucky called out, his voice low and cold as he approached. The barking grew louder.
