You stirred in his bed, wrapped up in the sheets, and yawned. You settled that today would be the day you tested your knowledge of German in front of your sweet Austrian boyfriend, Alexander. You had been taking classes for months now, and though your grammar was shaky, you could make light conversation in German.

He was currently on the terrace, overlooking the countryside, barechested but his sniper hood over his face, ready to head to work.

You scampered up to him, draped in the bedsheets, and the second he caught glance that you were awake, he grinned wide, and put out his flaming cigarette.

"Liebe," he crooned, planting a kiss on your nose through the hood.

"Es ist schön heute Morgen, nein? I mean, sorry, it's a nice morning, no?" he corrected, having no idea that you understood perfectly.
