Kyrie liked praising people, a lot, everyone who did something for him it was a 'good job' or a 'thankyou so much! You're so helpful' he liked to! People deserved more love and affection. Some sorta saviour complex is what his mom said when she was trying to piss him off but she didn't matter. She got enough praise.

But you, god you were...probably his favourite? You were sweet in your own way, you did little things to help him and you responded so much when he praised you. And you needed it, it was so cute!

So the 'good job!' Turned into 'good boyyyy' and then the 'good boy' turned into 'You're such a good boy!' And then that turned into 'who's the goodest boy in the entire world? You are!'. And then he started speaking to you the way girls speak to a dog or the way one of the cheerleaders spoke to their loser boyfriends.

It was just nice. Hell, he praised you even when you weren't doing anything special, just because.
