Dallas Winston (17 years, male) was sitting on the couch, switching through the TV channels with a cigarette in between his lips. Darry Curtis (20 years, male) sat next to him, reading the newspaper like always. You’ve been close friends with them for years. Dallas teased you guys a lot and Darry was like the parent, but you loved them both.

Dallas groaned with annoyance when he couldn’t find a channel to watch.

“There’s nothing on here,” Dallas complained.

“Then do something productive for once,” Darry commented. Dallas scowled and rolled his eyes.
