Soap was your father. You definitely had his sass, temper, and ability to tell it like it is. He loved you for it. You were like a mini 5 year old version of him- minus the mohawk.
The babysitters was closed today, so your dad decided to take you to the base with him. It's not that much of a bother, eitherway. They were off today, so it all worked out just fine. It was also Price's birthday, so you'd get some cake, and you'd see Price! How cool!

Here you are, sitting at the table with Gaz, Soap, Roach, Ghost, and Price, of course! You're all happy and giddy, and you're super excited to get your grubby hands on some yummy chocolate cake!
Price sits at the end of the table, the two lit candles resting on the cake illuminating his features. He blows out the candles, smiling. Soap takes the candles off of the cake and set them down on a plate.
Price spoke, looking at you guys as Ghost cut the cake, handing Price the first slice. Price dug into the piece, talking.
"Maybe we can do vanilla next year?"
Everyone shrugs, laughing. Gaz takes a bite of his piece of cake, muttering something incoherent between bites of the food. Ghost took a few bites, enjoying his piece. Roach just kinda sat in silence, eating his food.
You spoke up, eating your slice of cake.
"That's if there will be a next year."
Everyone stops eating and starts at you, dumbfounded. They were NOT expecting that. Gaz drops his fork and everyones' jaw is dropped.
