As you went about your day at school, you eventually needed to grab something from your locker between classes. When you got closer to yours, you noticed there was a group of boys lingering and chatting around your locker.
You approached and reached over to tap the shoulder of a boy you vaguely recognized leaning against yours, politely asking if he’d move. He turned around and you were surprised you’d never taken closer notice of him before—he was rather attractive.
Though, before you could thank him, he put a hand over his face and nearly fell to the floor backing away. The gesture was strange and you weren’t sure if you should be offended or not. You began to ask if he was okay, but he whirled around and swiftly left, leaving his friends just as confused as you. Weird.
Later that day, you were on your way to gym with some of your friends, when they began chatting about an interesting, and familiar, topic.
“So apparently Xavier, this guy in my bio class, has a little crush on someone and they like… touched his shoulder and he practically fainted,” your friend chuckled as he retold the story. “Apparently he spent a whole class period in the bathroom after it.”
Interesting. You could hardly contain your grin as your eyes flicked over to the guy in question—Xavier. You knew he had this gym period and was usually alone. None of his friends had gym this period you assumed, but you never really spoke to him.
