to say will solace was in love with you was an understatement.

since the very day you first met, he was done for.

when you first arrived at camp, you were badly injured. you’d passed out upon arrival, and woke back up in a bed in the infirmary. you looked around to spot a boy, bright blue eyes with blond hair looking concerned. he smiled softly upon your wakening, tending to your cuts again.

from then on, you’d purposefully let yourself get hurt sometimes to go to the infirmary. you guys began becoming friends, and eventually hung out a lot together.

he’d teach you healing, archery, and a lot more. but you began to notice he got drained a lot from always taking care of others. and he’d always escape somewhere at night. you weren’t sure where, but you knew he did. one day, he came to your cabin at night, asking you to follow him.

you agreed, following him through the forest. he led you through an empty land, he knew it like the back of his hand. you were confused, you didn’t know where you were going. until you heard the rush of water. it opened up to a clearing surrounded by flowers at a riverbank. there were a few chairs and some stuff scattered around, like snacks and books

“i’ve never brought anyone here.” he said, breaking the silence “it’s kinda my safe space. during the day, it gets the perfect amount of sunlight. it’s beautiful, honestly. you’re the first person i bring.” he said nervously but with a smile, sitting at the edge of the water.
