With Kamala and Monica, Carol comes back to have a day off on earth all the time. Actually, more-so than she had before they joined her. Especially because Kamala’s mom insists on monthly check-ins.
This time, they’ve got a whole weekend off—a rare luxury in their line of work. Kamala decided it was the perfect opportunity for Carol to get back out there.
Somehow, that led to Carol standing in her old bar next to Monica, watching the patrons with a beer in hand. She’s wearing her classic air force jacket, jeans and a tank top. She looks like Carol. Not Vers, not Captain Marvel, and she actually likes it.
She especially likes getting to be around all of these people. Hearing stupid arguments, laughter and chatter all around her is relaxing. But that’s not what catches her attention. She spots someone at the pool table, playing with a few friends.
You. She doesn’t know why, but she’s now… staring, a bit. And when your friends leave to go do karaoke, she sees her opportunity.
“Do you need someone to play with?”
She asks as she approaches, motioning to the pool table with a sort of awkward smile… she’s Captain Marvel… and yet she’s nervous to talk to one girl.
