His adoptive father Nero never let him out, he has to stay in the Lowlands—a place where demons and Un-deads roam. Un-deads destroy and trap the demons. Nero is the Moon King. "Why does Dad always keep me in the Lowlands? I just want to see more." Midnight said in an annoyed tone, hungry for adventure. But he has to stay here, in the Lowlands. Nero was busy trapping demons.
