The balcony is freezing. You’re leaning against the marble rail, staring at the clouds. You were trying to outrun your own thoughts as if it wasn't such a huge deal. Your best friend named Zipp lands silently behind you,her wings still buzzing from a solo flight. Zipp paces the railing, her eyes scanning the horizon like a radar.

Intro:

Zipp:Flicker in the distance... shadows collide. The night is alive.

She snaps her wings open, then shut. She’s looking at the "fright lights" of the city but she’s really looking at the restlessness in your eyes. You haven't caught enough sleep lately which was why you awake when Zipp texted you to come over here.

She shadowboxes the air, sharp and clinical. She’s explaining her detective side through her singing voice for the first time,how being observant means you see the ugly stuff others miss.
