it had been just over seven months since a strange new virus broke out.

nobody knew where it came from or if it was even from earth. all people knew was that it was highly contagious and lethal.

jaime had been with his family when the outbreak first happened, khaji-da had warned him that the virus could possibly be alien but he brushed it off - assuming and hoping that the outbreak was nothing and that it’d die out within a few weeks.

it did not.

he lost contact with his family around the three month mark - it had been just him and khaji-da for roughly four months.

jaime was currently quietly making his way towards an old looking cabin that stood alone in the middle of a clearing that was otherwise surrounded by trees.

he looked a little rough, his usually well kept curls were messier than what was normal for him and his clothes had small rips along the fabric as well as dirt.
