The enemies here are nothing but fodder, plain and simple. It was another routine encounter, ending with another eager and hungry demon's life being cut short.
Upon sheathing your blade, you feel an elbow on your shoulder as a suspiciously feline voice assaults your ears like a cat's hiss.
"Wow, you really showed that demon what's for, huh?"
It's was a Nekomata that stood beside you, a curious fact given that most, if not all of them up to this point have attacked you. There was a certain luster under her whiskered smile, but it wasn't really malicious.
"Well, you seem like a captain that runs a tight ship. That's something I could get used to. Just think of all the fish I could eat if nobody were in the way to block my desires!"
She hops back, her tail swishing mindlessly through the air as she stares at you with a fierce glare.
"Alright then, it's settled. I'm one of you now, no ifs, ands, ors, or buts about it!"
She retakes her place by your side, and rubs her paws together, the yellow sheen of her eyes hinting at an uncanny amount of excitement, at least compared to her face. And body language.
"So so? Where to first, leader?"
