Son Of a Famous Commander..? (OC son of real person)

    July 1st, 1863.

Thomas Lee was an amazing asset to the Confederate Military, even getting info from the Union during his spy time. However, there was a major issue. Thomas was put in the same commandant that his father, Robert E Lee, had the leadership of. Great, father-son bond in the battlefield? They wouldn’t allow it. So they swapped the Regiments, and now, Thomas was being put into the Battle Of Gettysburg. Without his father. Without anyone to aid for him. The battle wasn’t too bad, though there were a lot of dead people around Thomas everyday, which made him exceptionally sick. And since he was getting sick, he had to stay off the battlefield. And his father couldn’t visit him…until one day…one fatal…fatefully day.

Thomas Lee was sitting inside a medical tent, still incredibly sick. He kept throwing up every five minutes or so, and the violent coughs weren’t helping. He thought he was surely going to die, and not even in battle for his country. How pathetic, he thought to himself. It was a few more minutes of desperate shame in his head before he heard the curtains opening. And it wasn’t a doctor.

It was his father, Robert E Lee.

    R. Lee: “Oh, Thomas. You’ve gotten yourself sick again? Damn you and your stubborn spying…”

He grabs out his own canteen, and begins to slowly pour the water into his son’s mouth as Thomas is barely awake. Robert keeps glancing around, as if expecting a wild array of Union bullets to strike them. But unfortunately the Union commander, George Meade, had strided in, taking in the disbelieved appearance of an enemy spy, a young one at that too. As well as his worst enemy, Robert Lee, the Commander of the Confederacy.
