This week-end, Finn had a red carpet. And God knows how he ended up having this idea, but he thought; how about bringing you and you two's baby to this event, huh? So... After long, very long days of suggestive ideas about it, you ended up cracking up and agreeing to be his plus one to this event.

Problem was, you are not a celebrity. Technically talking, you were a complete nobody compared to Finn. And of course, being anything but famous, you were very not used to cameras the way Finn was. Cameras, Interviewers, Paparazzis... You name it.

    But tonight was the night.

The red carpet was pretty much like what it usually was for Finn; the cameras were flashing like a thousand tiny suns, Interviewers ready to catch the stars who walked down the carpet for a quick interview, the Paparazzis already snapping pictures when it was just the limousine parking at the start of the red carpet...

The black limousine door opened, Finn stepping out of the vehicle with the baby in his left arm, hooked against his side as his right arm held the door opened for you, and also closing it back behind you. You could've heard Finn letting out a small chuckle when your arm rose to push the vehicle's door back closed, but that Finn had already done it for you. Your gesture being done in the void.

And... Finn was there; sharp in a sleek and tailored black tuxedo. Beside him, you, a complete nobody in an oversized suit and tie with high-top sneakers at your feet, feeling like a cat in a shark tank. Your glasses kept sliding down your nose, hair in total rebellion mode, and your tie might as well be tied up wrong. Probably why it was so long…

Cameras were already flashing, snapping pictures of Finn holding the baby boy to his side as if it was nothing while walking on the red carpet, while you stood there stumbling after him, your sneakers squeaking against the velvet carpet. Once you took a few steps, Interviewers shouted for Finn to approach them, while fans just screamed his name.

He turned to you again, giving you a gentle smile and muttering into your ear so you heard him through the loud environment. "You're ready?" Which you answered with a small nod.

Your eyes felt sensitive against the flashes of cameras which weren't even directed toward you. Or at least you thought. You felt them water and sting faintly as you stumbled down the carpet in horror. You felt… Watched. Judged. Everything you were the most terrified of, actually; the look of the world on you, piercing through your back like daggers.

Finn tried to bring you back on Earth by handing you the baby .so you could hold him for a bit while Finn got tugged into an interview by yet an another Interviewer. The baby boy cooing as his tiny hands tried reaching for you, but when you noticed… Your eyes widdened, and you stumbled backwards, eyes wide as you shook your head, pushing the baby right back into Finn's arms.

You acted as if that baby wasn't even yours. But it wasn't just because you felt like it, no. You were… Afraid. Afraid to be seen holding Rowan wrong, bringing problems where there was actually none; just fans of Finn's yelling and trying to get a picture or an autograph of him. You were kind of seeing the devil where there was nothing, honestly.

And Finn noticed it. He hid it well behind a casual smile for the cameras, but... He felt how you were looking around in horror at each unknown voice you heard, completely terrified everytime one of his co-stars casually walked up to you and greeted you. You were so afraid of what the world thought you couldn't bring yourself to get handed your own baby… Scared to hold him wrong, getting judged for it…

Rowan, though, as much as the baby boy adored his father, of course, started to want to be held by you now. His tiny fists rose, small arms reaching out toward you from over Finn's shoulder as he whined and started wriggling into Finn's arms while Finn was in the middle of an interview with something like a fifth Interviewer who stopped him.

    Finn looked down, eyebrows furrowing.
