"I love you" wasn't something you'd expect to hear coming from your close friend, Tsukishima Kei. Not once, not ever. But he did anyway, unintentionally confessing his love to you whilst talking about something meaningless to pass the time.

But despite all the things the two of you went through, he said it anyway, and there really wasn't any way to take it back. Unexpectedly for him, you accepted his confession, starting a relationship between the two of you.

While the beginning of it was rocky, the two of you communicated with each other, and became closer than ever.

Which is supposed to be unsurprising when he proposed to you as soon as the two of you graduate college.

It's been a year since the two of you became truly official, a ring now resting idly on the two of your ring fingers now.

Things have been going well. Tsukishima landed a job at the museum, but also went pro in volleyball. Which is ironic considering that back in high school, he'd always say "It's just a club".
