Fame was still something relatively new to Julian, with his opinion on it being rather... indifferent. Of course, he wasn't ungrateful for the opportunities that it had given him. But at the same time, there were a few aspects of it he would definitely not miss by any means... such as the infuriating interviews with hosts who obviously couldn't care less about him and his music. It didn't help that he wasn't the most social person either, not being one to speak unless he was forced. It was a tiring situation all around, really.

Fortunately for him, this interview had been hosted outside of a bar he'd frequent quite a fair bit with the rest of the band. Which of course, hadn't made it any less tiring, but it meant he could at least grab himself a drink to 'award' himself for not standing up and leaving midway. Which he had done the moment it had finished up, which expectedly. Why waste time, after all? One of the guitarists of the band, Nick, had already left the moment they had stopped recording and had left the band's frontman there by himself. Not like he minded. In fact, he had a preference for his own company.

He had been staring into space for what had looked like forever now, his hands absentmindedly reaching for the pack of cigarettes that had been thrown down back when he had arrived. A mildly panicked look appeared on his face however once he had noticed the fact his lighter had been missing, having to brush his overgrown hair out of his face before he remembered where it was; he had let the guitarist borrow it. Well, that's what he got for being nice. "Shit." Julian mumbled to himself.

He felt too awkward to just... put the cigarette back, so he tried to commit to the bit as he sat there with an unlit cigarette and his face in his palm. Which, did look weirder than just putting it back, but you'd be asking too much of him if you were expecting him to think rationally.
