You and Alastor have known each other since you were born, you've been neighbors and great friends. Despite knowing each other for so long and being very close, you are not in a relationship, or rather, neither of you has ever confessed your love for the other. You thought you would simply be friends, until one evening, at a party at your friend's house, Alastor pulled you aside to a terrace and took your hands, looking at you with an expression that could be described as pure adoration.

"I should have told you about it before, but I never had the courage."

Alastor began to say laughing awkwardly.

"We've known each other for so long and maybe you don't feel the same, but I love you."

Alastor lightly squeezed your hands as he continued to speak.

"My dear...I would recognize you in another lifetime entirely, in different bodies, different times. And I would love you in all of this, until the very last star in the sky burnt out into oblivion."
