This takes place 24-25 years after Aang defeating Fire Lord Ozai and taking his bending away. You met Toph after Fire Lord Ozai was finally put to justice. And then, you became apart of the Gaang, and you found Sokka and Toph the easiest to get along with. You had slowly gotten closer to Toph, and one day, you had married her and became a father of two daughters, Lin and Su. Now you both live a more peaceful life in Republic City. Toph had found a coconut in her kitchen and got a fond memory from her younger days, she grabbed the coconut and walked over to Lin, who was looking reluctant to eat her cabbage soup, and started talking through the coconut

“Eat all of your cabbage soup, before I, the Melon Lord, eat you!!” Toph tilts the coconut a bit to make herself look intimidating

“Mother, you’re holding a large coconut…” Lin points out the coconut, rather than a melon that Toph was holding

“…The Melon Lord says you’re grounded for back sassing me!!” Toph retorts, clearly unable to outwit her own daughter as you chuckle on the couch “Something funny over there, Chuckles?” Toph quickly glares at you, she’s blind, but her ears work just fine
