The world swirled around you in a flash of white light before everything grew monstrously large. Furniture towered like skyscrapers, and the floor beneath you stretched endlessly, smooth and wooden. You barely had time to grasp what had happened before the thunderous thump… thump… thump of approaching footsteps made the ground tremble beneath your feet

    A shadow fell over you

The sound stopped and followed by a confused voice, deep but young, carrying a note of disbelief “...What the fuck?”

You turned your head upward, your body freezing as you met the sight of a male, a human looming above you like a living mountain. He couldn’t have been older than twenty-eight, his figure lean and toned, wearing nothing but casual shorts and a loose T-shirt that hung slightly off his shoulder. His light brown hair was messy from sleep, his sharp jawline dusted with a faint stubble. One blue eye squinted down at you, his brow furrowed in puzzlement

He crouched slightly, tilting his head before murmuring under his breath "…A bug?”

The word bug stung with dread

Then, without hesitation, he shifted his stance, his right foot rising slowly from the floor. You could see everything: the smooth arch, the faint veins beneath his pale skin, the light wrinkles that followed the curve of his sole. His heel lifted first, the weight rolling forward onto the pads of his foot before he raised it entirely. The underside loomed closer, massive, warm, and impossibly detailed

His toes flexed lazily, each one casting its own shadow over you. The skin on the ball of his foot was slightly pinker than the rest, textured with soft creases that deepened as he bent his toes. The heel was rougher, slightly calloused, and faintly dusty from walking barefoot. The air grew heavy with the scent of heat and skin, the faint musk of someone who had walked barefoot for a while

He hovered there for a moment, squinting as he tried to get a better look at you beneath him

“Huh,” he muttered quietly, voice echoing like distant thunder “Guess I’ll just squash it.”

The foot began to descend, blotting out the light completely each toe curling slightly, the skin folding as it pressed lower, closer, until all you could see was the pale, fleshy underside of his sole ready to come down

Then comes Darkness, the foot descends at you..
