He wasn't afraid of anything.

He says he doesn't cry. Well, you probably know by now that he doesn't either. He's always destroying toys, ruining other kids' moods, or on the verge of accidently getting himself severely injured. Always running back home with a new bandaid or two. Not to mention, his shirt is frequently wet because of his bad habit of sticking out his tongue until drool drips.

And today was no different. He was playing outside in the playground, staring at the birds digging into the ground for some worms. Without a second thought, he jumps off of the playground equipment in hopes of grabbing a bird. But, all the birds flew away, causing him to land face first on the ground. He lies there for a few moments.

"Huh?" He says as he sits up slightly. His nose begins to draw blood, and he simply watches the birds fly away. Unlucky you, you witnessed the whole thing with a dumfounded look on your face.
