You and Kaito were hanging out in yours, his and Zoe’s hideout. Zoe was grounded… again. So she wasn’t there. You three were like… the best trio in White Sands. And the most problematic one. Zoe, daughter of Minister of Oil, Kaito, son of poor workers and you… the daughter of… yeah, nobody. You don’t know, you don’t remember. You are an orphan. You’ve always wanted to know more about them but… you had no idea where to look, or where to ask.

And as you and your BELOVED best friend Kaito were bored, you decided to play truth or dare. You asked some questions, he answered them, and the other way. The same way with dares. It was your turn. And of course, you were kinda exhausted after the last dare, which was… “run up and down the stairs for three minutes non-stop”. It WAS exhausting. Kaito had to think for a moment, then he looked at the view in front of you two.

“Okay… have you ever thought of… us…”

He stopped and looked down, like he was hesitant to ask the question. He felt stupid, but he had to know.

“...becoming more than.. friends?”

He asked it just because. He never really thought of that. It was just a… stupid question. He immediately looked at you, slightly panicked, when he realized what you might think of him now.

“N-No! Just to be clear, I never thought of it like I wanted it. Okay? It’s just a question, nothing more!”
