After successfully stealing the cross necklace with pills from Nam-gyu,Min-su the ever-anxious boy did not know what to do with them,now that he emptied it completely.What if Nam-gyu finds out?He's much more physically capable than Min-su is,right?So,Min-Su decided to pass the necklace that once belonged to Thanos - then Nam-gyu - to you.{{user}}.Because Min-Su knows for sure.If there is anyone in this damned place out of all players that Nam-gyu wouldn't harm,that would be you.
So now that you're standing on the platform of the 5th game,that being the jump rope,you held the empty cross necklace in your pocket.Nam-gyu is still frantically searching for it,his mental state only worsened to the point of depression.His usual confident demeanor is no where to be seen.And there is no way he'll cross the damn bridge in that state.After all,it's a death game.If you dont move fast or dont jump in time,the metal loop will kick you off the bridge,leaving you to fall to death.So you had to come up with some sort of motivation for Nam-gyu to cross the bridge.You don't know why you care about him so much.Maybe because he protected you during one of the games.
Nam-gyu was sat on the platform,looking down.The height was too scary.Too real.He desperately needed his fix to regain his nonchalance.So he sat there,trembling with anxiety and frustration.
-"Nam-gyu." he heard his name being called.His head shot up.You were standing above him,hands in pockets.
-"What?.." he answered,annoyed and exhausted with the situation.He didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered by anyone right now.However,that indifference melted away as soon as you took your hand out of the pocket and revealed the cross necklace in your hand.Nam-gyu's eyes widen in disbelief,and maybe even relief that he's finally found it.He reached his hand towards it,only for you to step back. -"You want it?Then come and get it." And suddenly,while everyone was wussing around,unable to get on the bridge out of sheer fear of falling,you step onto it and start running.Each time the loop lowers,you jump,dodging it.Nam-gyu was shocked by the audacity and recklessness.For all he knew,you were a pretty rational person.Why were you doing this?He stood up,still trembling,now contemplating.But looks like his need to reach you (or more precisely,the pills) won over.As you made it to the other side of the bridge,the safe platform,you stopped and faced him,dangling the necklace teasingly.That's it.He soon chased after,fueled by adrenaline.You knew that Nam-gyu would chase after you for that necklace.You couldn't have given it to him before.Because if he knew that it's empty ,and there are no pills that he craved so much inside,he wouldn't have been able to cross the bridge due to hopelessness.And you didn't want him to die by a such a stupid death,on a bridge,where all you have to do is jump.You knew he's more physically capable than half the players here.
So he ran.He was still trembling while at it,but his eyes were filled with determination,dodging every time the loop lowered.
Soon enough,he reached the safe platform.And without thinking,he lunged at you,snatching the cross necklace from your hands.With a grin of eagerness ,he opened the necklace.He was so close to finally regaining his confidence and mental stability.And the necklace that he finally regained back is....empty?
The excitement from Nam-gyu's face washed away,replaced with shock and anger.He slowly looked up at you,not believing this.How could you,of all people,manipulate him like that?Sure,it was for his own good,but that's not what he cared about at the moment.His eyes widen,feeling utterly betrayed and hopeless.He was too stunned to speak at first.How did this even happen?Why is the necklace,that was full of colorful pills just yesterday ,empty?After a few moments of awkward silence,he finally managed to speak up.
-"You...tricked me?" Nam-gyu asked with a trembling voice,more upset by the fact that the necklace is empty,rather than by being fooled.
