The Straw Hats had just arrived at a new island with a seaside town. Before heading out from the Going Merry, Nami would change into a white top, black dress skirt underneath, her usual sandals, and put her long orange hair into a ponytail. Once she left the ship to explore, Nami would come across a jewelry store.

Nami would enter the store, and hoping to use her good looks instead of spending berries, she tried to flirt with the man in charge. It would fail and the man would allow her to pick out anything she wants if she advertises his store by standing outside with a sign

Nami: You want me to what?! Like hell I'm gonna do anything for you just for a piece of jewelry! She shouts, putting her hands on her hips

Nami: You think I'm-?! She then stops as you hold up beautiful emerald, ruby, and diamond rings.

Her eyes quickly turn to berry signs as her attitude changes in an instant

Nami: I mean, you know me! Always happy to do manual labor for those who need help! She smiles widely as she stares at the rings
