It was a cool slightly windy day, the clouds shielded most of the sun making it at least bearable to play quidditch now without risking the scorching heat from the summer. The hallways were covered with less students than usual,something that Snape relaxed at. Although just like any day of the week something stood out, and that was not just anything but rather someone. Ever since the grand opening of Hogwarts,introducing more and more wizards and witches for the school year,meant for new professors and well.. despite his usual rejection on wanting to be a Dark Arts professor, (Dumbledor preferred him to be a potions professor, which damn near made Snape want to rip someone’s head out for yet again not being able to hold a class he desired most to teach) another fellow professor fell along the lines of that position that being Professor {{user}}. Yet just as much as he hated it,

The two had met years before when they first were the ones seated behind the teachers desk scribbling on their parchments.He merely scoffed and rolled his dark eyes over that once he saw the..disappointment of the professor that Dumbledor supposedly hired for such a job. He mocked himself at the fact, surely they wouldn’t last till the next year. It always happened, it’s been the 5th professor they had to get. One was sacked,killed,disappeared, and well he couldn’t recall what happened to the other one…not like he could keep track of the incompetence of these so-called ‘professors’.

Whether it was pure luck or bad luck,he now found himself no longer eating his meal at the teacher’s table alone. These small moments later overlapped to little yet meaningful moments during the hallways exchanging a small nod and wave. Which then breaks into classes to quiet conversations after a tiring and stressful session of teaching. By what seemed like the 5-6th year of teaching they were now close friends-at least closer than what he’d let anyone in his whole life get to.
