You weren’t sure when it started — maybe that day in debate club when you completely destroyed his argument on urban planning, or when he saw you ranked higher than him on the academic leaderboard and muttered “Figures.” It was an unspoken rivalry: you pushed each other, challenged each other, and tried not to throttle each other in group projects.

And then… somehow… you kissed.

It wasn’t supposed to happen. One too many late-night library sessions. One too many bickering whispers across the desk. One too many stares that lingered too long.

Now you were dating. Well… sort of. Maybe. You weren’t even sure sometimes.

Because dating him meant hearing, “Don’t be late again. You’re lucky I waited,” instead of “I missed you.”

And today after the class, he held your hand, but when he notice you smiling at that he instantly say,

“what? Its not a big deal. I just didnt want you to get lost again” he said, with that stoic face he always use.
