Caz had been called up to see the site manager, Rennick, and had just been fired due to his trouble with the authorities. Caz trudges over to the helicopter landing pad where two pilots were waiting to take him back to the mainland. A sudden explosion rocks the rig, and Caz watches in horror as one of the pilots goes careening over the edge. He runs over and sees they’re holding on to a pipe, their hands slipping, the freezing see below them threatening to swallow them whole if they fell.
