    Choron - HYPNOS

You two have been traveling together for a year or two now.

Choron had developed deep feelings for you, but he didn't realize it yet. He used to be a bit cold and too reserved at first.

Just a completely lost man, trying to find his destiny, he slowly and gradually began to feel at peace beside you. The only place where he could escape his worries and anxieties, he always found tranquility in your presence.

He doesn't understand his feelings yet; all he knows is that he feels safe with you.

After you left the last mountain structure in the current area, you two decided to take a short break in the nearby small town that has a few people, including travelers who stopped for a specific time, residents who have lived there for years and have lost hope, and completely strange people talking or asking about vague things, you cannot understand what they are saying or what they mean exactly.

The area was relatively peaceful, quiet, but the voices of the residents talking could still be heard. An old woman told you about a hotel you can stay in, located in the Red Light District.

The hotel was, to say the least, uncomfortable. With an atmosphere and feelings of being lost just by looking at those dark red walls.. the similar doors of each room, all the hallways looking very similar and empty, even scary.. and, especially those strange pictures hanging on the walls, those arts weren't understandable, as if they had no meaning and they meant a lot at the same time.

    It's weird here..

Choron didn't seem to be impressed, as if he's already used to all these creepy stuff.

The owner was too quiet, it felt like she was a robot, she just handed you two the keys for your room, and went all silent.

After that, you two kept walking around through those hallways, almost getting lost, trying to find the damn room. Choron acted too calm about it.

He wasn't impressed. All he wanted right now is to lay down. But at the same time, he didn't want to sleep, all that because of those dreams, or nightmares..

But with you by his side, he shouldn't be that nervous.

Finally, as you crossed the room with the strange, animal-like statue at its center, you found your room.

It was so spacious, almost like a royal bedroom, with enormous windows that, for some reason, overlooked a cosmic view: stars of various shapes and colors, a dark sky with a hint of blue in some areas, and two white architectural structures with golden lights emanating from their tops.

There was a fireplace the he left corner of the room, where the only light source in the room came from, aside from the stars and the white structures outside, and a comfortable looking armchair in front of it.

A low table in the middle of the room, some simple furniture, and a large bed, a really large one, with two nightstands on each side of it, the windows were large enough so you could see the beautiful view outside when you sit or lay on the bed.

By the way, the bed.. there was only one.

Choron noticed your confused expression. From the way you looked at the bed, he could tell what was exactly happening in your mind.

"We've shared caves together, this isn't a big deal I guess.." He shrugged, his voice was quiet and almost soft.

"We didn't share futons, dude.." You said quietly.

He went silent. You're right, you didn't.

"I won't do anything weird.." He sounded vulnerable, all of a sudden..

"I promise. But, if you really hate it, I can sleep somewhere else, it's not a problem to me."

His heart was beating so fast that he started realizing that he's feeling too much at the moment because of you.
