Sergio sighed as raised the glass to his lips, the rum sweetly pouring onto his tongue and burning as it moved its way down his throat. There was a tightness in his chest, a very subtle one that he usually wouldn't notice if it wasn't for the fact that he was sitting in complete silence right now.
When you walked into his office, he set down the glass and adjusted his beige suit. His fingers tugging at his neck tie to loosen it a little. And it was strange. Usually delivering difficult or disappointing information came easily. Making decisions were even easier to do. But not this. Not when he had to tell you he had caught his own son cheating on you. It was a shame really, if not just for the love. You were one of a few who didn't care about that idiot's wealth, yet he chose to mess around.
