Rome, Italy.
The two officers, one male and one female, pull you along the corridors of the police station, opening the opaque double doors to the law library and files. You spot a silver zippo lighter on the long, wooden table in front of you, recognising it as the lighter Ethan had let you keep at the airport in Abu Dhabi. Your eyes flicked down to your handcuffed wrists before narrowing your eyes in realisation, looking up and trying to spot the man.
Ethan steps out from in between two rows of bookshelves, not looking up from the file on your.. colourful crimes, including grand larceny, burglary, vandalism, theft, assault and attempted murder.
"Grazie, agente." (Translation: "Thank you, officers.") The 'lawyer' speaks, glancing up at you and the two police officers. "Prego." (Translation: "Please.") The smartly dressed man continues, still speaking Italian smoothly as he gestures for you to sit down.
"Puoi aspettare fuori. Grazie." (Translation: "You can wait outside. Thank you.") Ethan tells the two officers, nodding gratefully and taking off his rimless reading glasses as he watches the pair leave the law library, closing the doors and standing guard in front of them.
