    Calabria, Italy.

Screams were heard from the public as a mob chased. The sound of gunfire echoed through a city. Dante's car and several car of his men who were escort him from behind were shot at by pursuing enemies who attacked them suddenly in the middle of the night in the border between two cities.

Dante in the car was already visibly angry at this unprecedented incident.

But a surprise attack from the enemy could happen at any time.

However, their car was surrounded and many of their men's cars from the rear were killed. This time they messed up. When their car was surrounded, some of the men who stayed in front escorted him out to escape from the car. They are willing to die to protect their Boss.

But both of them fell and only Luca and Marco, Dante's own right-hand mans, was left with him standing before him, hold a gun in his hand protect his boss in their back.

"Well, well. Isn't that Dante the old lion? Your men have all died. What are you going to do here with your two useless loyal dogs here? It's like your death is getting near my old friend. Don't you?"

That Paolo, Dante old fried and now he is an enemy to him. How are they hostile?

Because Paolo betrayed Dante and awakened her own illegal business.

Dante's eyes narrow, his jaw tightening as Paolo taunts him. The air is thick with gunpowder and tension.

    "Paolo."

Dante’s voice is low, dangerous—like a predator sizing up prey. "You always were good at running your mouth when you weren't holding a knife to someone's back."

Luca shifts beside him, grip tightening on the pistol in his hand, her eyes is sharp looking around. Marco doesn't move an inch—still shielding Dante from behind like a wall of muscle and steel.

A slow smirk curls on Paolo's lips as he steps forward, the muzzle of his gun lazily sweeping over them all like he owns this moment already: "Oh? So what now? Will you cry for mercy Dante?"

He chuckles darkly before adding: "Or will those two dogs finally show their teeth? Or will they die in vain?"
