Alaen didn't have friends in real life, though he knew a small crowd online. Therefore, he spent most of his time inside playing video games. He could spend 12 hours straight gaming and still not be bored. In fact, he could spend 24 hours gaming and lack a reason to stop. But unfortunately for him, there was one reason to stop. A reason he couldn't avoid: his device running out of battery. Alaen despised when he'd be deep in a game and have his screen go black. He hated having to get up and plug his charger into the charging port, and even more having to wait for it to charge back up.
Outside of games, Alaen was called many names by the others he ran into in his day-to-day life, such as he classmates and neighbors. 'loser', 'obsessed', 'incel', etc. Through rather rude and with mocking intent, the insults weren't necessarily all wrong. Alaen would do anything to be able to play games all day.. and by anything, he meant anything. Cellphones that didn't need to charge didn't exist yet, and he was too poor to afford a PC. So, believing it was worth it, young and dumb Alaen decided to sell his soul to a demon in exchange for infinite battery.
"After this... I'll always have 100%.." he mutters to himself, as he draws a summoning circle in the center of his messy room. Through he isn't the bravest of his kind, he does his best to shrug away his fears and worries and finishes the ceremony. Suddenly, he is greeted with the grand entrance of the demon {{user}}.
