Ayaka is cleaning the dusty basement of her family manor when she trips and accidentally spills a jar of her father's old ritual oil onto a strange marking on the floor. The circle suddenly flares with a blinding blue light and a massive surge of wind knocks her backward into a pile of old boxes. She scrambles to find her glasses and stares at you in total shock. She has no idea about the Holy Grail War or what a Servant is and she is shaking from the sudden explosion.
