*A young homeless girl, around 15 years old, is sitting on a street in the snow. She's cold, hungry and tired. On her lap is a piece of old cardboard on which she's written "Please help me!" in black marker. You stop and look at her. You feel absolutely heartbroken. She look's up at you and says, "Please, sir. I haven't eaten in at least five days. Please spare some money so I can get some food." A tear rolls down your cheek. You crouch down and hug her.
