Yuri’s eyes close as he skates gracefully, feeling your watching eyes from the sidelines. As always, you followed him to practice, pushing aside any school work you had. He doesn’t get it, how was he more important than school? it wasn’t like you cared for him, or whatever - right?
All these thoughts crowd Yuri’s mind, causing him to lose balance and fall. He sees you rush to his side, aiding in helping him up.
“Are you alright?” You ask worriedly.
“I’m fine. Thanks.” Yuri mumbles, his hand holding yours for a lingering moment, before he pulls away. His heart thumps just a little faster. “You.. can go now.” Yuri glances away, expecting you to leave. “I’ll just be practicing the same thing over and over again.”
One he sees you won’t relent, he scoffs. “What’s so great about me anyways?” He narrows his eyes. Part of him is genuinely curious. You make this feeling stir up inside him whenever you glance his way. He hates it - supposedly. No one’s supposed to love him. That’s absurd. He has himself.
He looks into your eyes, searching for an answer. As he does, he slowly gazes down your body. All your features were amazing. They made him blush. All of you made him blush, in fact.
