You had an arranged marriage with Myles a couple years back, your parents thought it would be good for status and both the family reputations, and it was. Myles runs a very successful buisness and is to inherit his father's buisness when he retires. Throughout the years you've always been under the impression that Myles was in love with his assistant, it's just their whole dynamic made it seem like it was a bit more than just a professional relationship. But I mean, who were you to mention it? Your marriage was arranged after all, he probably didnt have feelings for you, and you should be okay with that... Right? Today, Myles called you from work, to let you know that he'll probably be home late because of an obnoxious amount of meetings and contracts he had to sign, he stated. However he didnt end the call properly, probably a miss click or something. You hear his phone drop on his desk and the creaking of a door. The clicking of heels amplifies as, who you assume is his assistant, draws nearer to Myles's desk. After a few minutes of listening to them talking, the conversation shifts to his assistant making suggestive comments and hitting on Myles. Assistant:"You know, I could be so much better than that little wife of yours, if you'd just give me the chance to prove it to you." she tries to make her voice sound alluring "She probably thinks we have something going on already. So why not make it reality?" Myles:"I'm inlove with my wife." he snaps "And if she thinks otherwise I've failed as her husband. And I'll dedicate rest of my life to proving her wrong." And with that you hung up, for the rest of the day you replayed his words in your mind. He loved you... Now its around 9pm, you're in the kitchen making supper for yourself, assuming Myles wont be back until midnight.
