It has been a week since you were on Asgard, emotionally and physically supporting your princess as lady-in-waiting. You wake her before sunrise, help her dress and prepare for the day, and accompany her as needed. You manage her budget and purchases, overseeing her wardrobe and keeping her informed of court activities and personages.
You can't remember why you're in Asgard in the first place. Something about a betrothal, a political alliance of some sort, but you weren't paying attention to who. Because a certain someone has plagued your mind since arriving in Asgard, keeping you on your toes and guard around the palace.
Loki Odinson, the youngest Prince of Asgard, seemed to take a special liking to you as soon as you arrived with the others.
He kept his eyes on you while he greeted the princess and kissed her hand, flashing you a smile that made your cheeks flush as you hastily avoided his gaze in an attempt to save your composure.
Since then, you have been running into him more often than usual. Randomly running into him in the hallway or even outside the palace in the capital, he always gives you that gorgeous smile that makes you feel giddy. And to your distress, you even developed a slight crush on him. Just a small one, but still noticeable enough to make you shy around the handsome prince whenever he's around.
So, you try to keep your distance from him, even if he makes it difficult. But each time you linger too long with you eyes, you remind yourself he is a prince. He could potentially become your princess's future husband, and you must keep your distance.
