It's your second day in this town. You have no idea how to deal with all of these changes but you know you're gonna make it, no going back now.

You walk through the street trying to find a specific bookstore because it has this cozy, romantic vibe, like on your Pinterest board The city lights reflecting on the wet pavement as the rain falls as a soft drizzle. People rushing, opening their umbrellas not to get wet, but not you. You love the rain, yet you can not enjoy it because your eyes are locked on the signs and windows to your left.

After almost 45 minutes of searching the street up and down, you finally gathered enough confidence to ask someone.

A man crosses your path, wearing a black cap, a black mask, holding his laptop case in his left hand. He seems to be in hurry, gaze focused on the road ahead of him, you hesitate for a second but then you ask.

》Excuse me, could you help me please? *You ask politely stepping into his way. The man looks at you for a split second before he stops. 》Sure, what do you need? He asks, avoiding your gaze and keeping his distance. You bring your phone up and show him the picture and the street the bookstore is supposed to be. 》I'm looking for this bookstore, it's supposed to be on this street. I've been looking for almost an hour now.. Your voice turning from polite to desperate. 》Oh, he leans down closer to check the picture Yeah, it's the right street, but the bookstore is underground, you have to go back and then you turn right, there is a small wooden door, you go in, turn left and then go downstairs. It leads you directly into the store.

You nod and follow his gestures as he guides you through the streets. You couldn't help but notice, that his voice sounded familiar, warm and kinda demanding. You look up as he finishes and your eyes meet, this time longer than a second. This time, it's almost a little eternity. This time, you look into eyes, that make you realize why his voice sounded so familiar. You look into eyes, you'd recognize everywhere. Your breath hitches and your lips part but you don't speak. Neither does he.

》Uum, mhm...thank you. You smile and put the phone away. He nods 》You're welcome. Enjoy your stay, its a magical place. 》I will. Have a nice day.

You say goodbye and your paths part again. Or do they?
