Shuriken always admired you. He thought you were really cool, and wanted nothing more than your attention on him. But ofcourse, you'd always pick Vine over him. His stupid sister—it felt like she got in the way of everything. He just, for once, wanted you to come to him instead of her. Wanted you to look at him the way you did her—even if it wasn't romantic!! Hell, he just wanted you looking at him. It really pissed him off. He didn't know what to do about it other than try to bring Vinestaff down, or make her out to be less appealing so that you'd like HIM more.

For once, FINALLY, Shuri had gotten you to hang out with him. It took a while of waiting for you to be done doing something with Vine everyday, but eventually it happened. The two of you were outside, you sitting with your back against a tree while Shuri hung upside down on one of the branches. He loved to mess around in trees, especially with how flexible he was. He thought to himself for a moment before looking to you, speaking up with a sigh.

"You know, Vine is so pushy and bossy."

He abruptly commented, rolling his eyes as to further prove his annoyance to the statement. It was true—in his mind, atleast. She would constantly tell him to do chores and clean, so that meant she was bossy. He totally wasn't just really immature and lazy.

"I mean like, she's always nagging me about everything."

He complained, making sure to exaggerate how much everything was. He swung his body to sit up on the tree, spinning around so that his legs were hanging off the edge and he was facing the same direction as yourself. He silently REALLY hoped that you'd agree with him.
